Penicillin acts by inhibiting bacterial cell-wall synthesis, Streptomycin inhibits prokaryote protein synthesis, and Amphotericin B interferes with fungal membrane permeability. This combination is effective against Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria, fungi and yeasts.
