Enzo Life Sciences公司的NUCLEAR-ID® Blue DNA stain (GFP-CERTIFIED®)和NUCLEAR-ID ® Red DNA Stain是細胞滲透性染料，適用于活細胞的細胞核染色。這系列染料為通過流式細胞術研究細胞周期進程的誘導和抑制提供了一種簡便方法。該試劑在活細胞研究中的潛在應用包括確定細胞DNA含量和細胞周期分布、檢測生長模式的變化、監測細胞凋亡以及評估腫瘤細胞行為和抑制基因機制。

實例分析
在37°C下用終濃度為4000x或2000x的NUCLEAR-ID ® Red DNA Stain或同等µM濃度的競爭品牌染料對細胞進行染色，并在染色后輕輕洗滌。在15分鐘和24小時對細胞成像，結果顯示NUCLEAR-ID ® Red DNA Stain在更低的濃度就能顯現dsDNA。
